With the 4.0 Mens' Jonesboro team losing over half their starting lineup, the Little Rock team of Danny Robinson looks like the preseason favorite in that division. Can the Jonesboro team restocked with players or a NW Arkansas team give them any competition?

Danny's Team was hurt as well as he lost his stud singles player and best doubles player. I think he will be able to field some strong doubles but State and Sectionals will come down to splitting the Singles in many cases and he does not have the horses right now, unless he find another ringer.

Also with Scott Hunter's Team at 4.5 being torn apart, Carter Fairley should be the heir apparent but he also lost his two best singles players.
Doubles will still be even between Hunter/Fairley, as for NWA they also lost quite a few players, that were going to be playing on the Walden Team forming (Garretson, Clarkston, Humbert, Hudson).
As for the Lyon Team, who knows if there will even be a team right now.

If Danny Robinson can pick up Dennis Ellington and Joe Sivley for singles, then they have to be the favorite.

Ellington is headed to Stuart Jones team along with schurmanns and oyos.

Waiting for Robinson to sign his team up, of course like his scheduling Robinson will wait until the last second, then whine when he does not get his way.

We women were jossled around. Some are just being bumped and should have been even two years ago. Others were bumped with no business playing at their newly attained level. It will be fun to keep up with and play against. I know I'll not be alone watching! ha!

I saw Ellington working out with Gilliland at LRAC and Dennis' big forehand just might replace Guy's weapon on Robinson's team. Sivley has the mental tenacity to replace Wyatt's mental toughness. I think they will both fill a tremendous gap in Robinson's singles lineup!!!! I am sure a lot of other teams are trying to sign them up before Robinson does.

Who are the top free agents this year in Men's 4.0??

Which of the following players are most ready and will have the most success at 4.5? Danny Milnes, Guy Gilliland, Wyatt Miller, Lynn Stewart, or Matt Edens?

Anonymous said...

Should be the LRAC Prince Guy since he likes to openly brag about being an Open Level Player, all the while playing 4.0. Also Wyatt if in shape will do fine at doubles, of course who knows seeing as how he learned to go from 5.0 to 4.0 in 3 years even being a teaching pro.

Danny Milnes will have the most impact at 4.5! He is to doubles what the Jonas Brothers are to pre-adolescent girls....

Wyatt or Matt. Both hold up better under pressure, have bigger arsenals and keep their heads during points.

Any idea where Wyatt and Guy will end up as I am not sure Fairley or Rivas will want them? Would they jump onto the Milnes team?

Wyatt can play on a lot of teams with his great doubles skill, but Guy lacks a strong doubles game and will probably be stuck in a singles lineup somewhere!

As for the Nominee for the Best Dressed Female Player, I would have to give Kim Buckner-Baker two thumbs up in that category. Her clothes are classy, cool, and sophisticated. I heard she is model in the LR Fashion World!

Guy has been offered by Fairley and they are mulling Wyatt an offer.

I wonder what was offered besides a spot on Fairley's roster to Guy and Wyatt? Any ideas?

Rivas has added Bob Lucky and rerate Eric Sixby who was a good 5.0 player as of 2005.
Also Jason Lyon has shifted to Otto Fry's team for this season.

Eric Sixby as a 4.5 shows what these clowns will do to win at all cost. Rivas/Ensminger should be ashamed of themselves for signing him up. Crap like this that makes team tennis a JOKE and discourages people from playing.

better yet is that Daniel Velasco has made it known he wishes to be a 4.5, I guess winning at 5.0 at the Sectional Level is just not good enough anymore for some.

$10 says Sixby will be dumping matches more than Hunter/Armstrong as they all try to retain their 4.5 ratings or get their bumps back down.
Ratings have become a joke. Also watch for Martin Kajevski to play some 5.0 matches and tank so he to can come down to 4.5 as well. You know it is easy to go from beating Top 400 players to a 4.5 hack in less than 5 years.

Best dressed? Hmmmm. I must say for the most part all women keep up with the trends and look great out there. Who has the best body? Kim A and Kim B. Hands down.
In the male category I gotta go with Marissa's husband, Kevin Williamson. Jim Harris would be a very close second. Very close.
