Do you have the right picture of Randy Jackson posted here? Congrats to him on the award but the RJ that I knew had dark hair and a lean face. The beady eyes resemble him but that is it! Check your photo file and make sure you didn't make a mistake. Congrats Again!!!

I agree that RJ should be in the Hall of Fame. I disagree the timing in that he serves as the secretary treasurer on the Arkansas Patrons Foundation when getting the award. He should not be in a position of authority when being nominated. It kinda lessens the validity of the award if your own committee members at the ATA chooses the award winners. It looks sort of wimpy, sissy way to receive an important award. Here I am in charge if ordering a plaque with my name on it and have it presented to myself AR a banquet dinner!

Ridiculous to me too!!! I heard that Joseph Murphy served the ATA as the award committee chairperson and he orders himself a Tennis Family of the Year plaque and then shows up at the ATA award banquet to have a co-worker present it to him. Childish behavior to me!!!

LOL! WHILE YOU'RE ON THIS TOPIC, THE LESLIE PFEIFFER NOMINATION FOR THIS AWARD WAS THE MOST IGNORANT DECISION IN THE HISTORY OF THE ATA. THE MS. MADEOFF AKA MS PFEIFFER PILFERED THE ATA FUNDS BY INFLATING HER PAYCHECK EACH YEAR AND THEN TOPS IT OFF WITH WRITING A CHECK OUT TO ORDER HERSELF A HALL OF FAME PLAQUE. SHE GOES TO THE AWARD'S BANQUET AND HAS THE PLAQUE PRESENTED TO HERSELF. WE ALL CLAP AND APPLAUSE KNOWING DEEP INSIDE SHE WAS UNDESERVING!!! I THOUGHT WE WERE TO SERVE OTHERS THAN TO SERVE OURSELVES WHEN OPERATING A NON-PROFIT!
