What's up? I thought this tournament was for juniors. Why would someone play as a junior when they're on a college team(even if riding the bench)? What gives Rowden and Martinez? Too scared to play men's open with the big boys? Suck it up dudes.

Guys,
Hudelson is a tough player. I think he is a 4-star recruit and committed to play college tennis at Charlotte.

Who are those sissy boys that are in college but still playing junior tennis?

Anonymous said...

The tournament is open to "JRs" Mario does not age out until July, so he is eligible, Rowden is same class as Hudelson. No different than many college kids going to play "The Zoo" in between Fr and So. year.

Does Martinez think that playing Arkansas juniors will help his college tennis? Anyone know what his college record? Rowden didn't make the starting lineup and rode the bench for Harding, a D-II school. So, he sure doesn't know how to improve his game. He was only a one star, maybe a two star recruit. I think Martinez was a 4 star and plays D-I tennis for East Carolina.

get your facts straight numb nuts, Rowden just graduated from HS two weeks ago. He will be a freshman at Harding this Fall, Hudelson will be a Freshman at Charlotte, Grant Adams will be a Freshman at Toledo.
Mario played #5-6 at ECU and was named 2nd Team All-Conference, not shabby for a freshman.
Mario probably played to team with Rowden one last time.
Go look at the Spam Slam results last weekend, he beat Pacheco (former AA) and Riabuchin (Lithuanian Davis Cup Player).

Martinez is the real deal! The Spam Slam is a tough tournament. Pacheco might be old and slow, but the Riabuchin win is a good win considering Riabuchin easily defeated the top seed Rincon.
